I believe in you! I believe in your products and I believe-Roselli is a good re-brand, but you are the best selling point! You should continue to be the face of the product line. It is more intimate, more believable, and resonates with everyone-feels real which is different, in a good way! Stay as you are and be as involved as you can. I don't think the brand will do as well without YOU being seen in some way and your story heard.
Iām going to be honest I didnāt listen to the podcast and I donāt really have time for most podcasts. I hate to be an advocate for shorter attention spans but I would prefer content from you that takes 5-10 minutes to watch/listen/be involved. I need short bursts of skincare info that I can easily adapt into my routine.
I became interested in this brand BECAUSE your face was so prominent. It feels warm and inviting to have you involved, and it feels different from other skincare brands who have less of a personal feel. For an example of another āpersonally marketedā company, I use a few Jones Road products and Bobbi is fairly involved in the marketing/social media presence. Iām sure that is curated more than your content (not a good or bad thing) but I think it makes a difference, especially because you DO want to entice younger buyers who will stick with your brand; I started purchasing your line before I turned 40. (Iām 41 now.)
I donāt love the name change. It feels like a change toward a less personal focus, another boring faceless brand in a sea of products. I donāt much care about the look or the logo so whatever you pick Iām sure will be beautiful.
None of this will change my own relationship with your products.
thank you so much! I will be involved but not as much as I have been. As i say in the podcast, content creation takes soooo much time and energy and it takes away the energy from being in the lab if that makes sense.
THanks for the tip on the 5-10 minute idea! I actually love that. Do you ever listen to podcasts? Or do you prefer your skincare content in the form of video?
Thank yo so much for your feedback, this is amazing and so helpful!
The time and energy for both sides of your business makes so much sense. I have a friend with a farm; he calls it a start-up and makes most of his living from his socials/youtube. To keep up a small one man farm (from ducks to cows) AND be a one man marketing and production team? Itās an insane amount of work. If taking a step back from one side means new products, quality improves or stays the same then I get it. Itās necessary for the integrity of the brand. I respect that. Your knowledge is why we are here.
I tend to listen to music in my spare time instead of podcasts. I read texts and emails so thatās the best way to reach me I think. I will click links to longer formats, video is probably slightly preferred but if the information in interesting I will take audio, when I have the time.
I'm gonna be honest: I don't like any of it. Why can't your name be your brand? When I see these concepts, they come across as being very generic and VERY beige, and that's not you or your passion at all! Going to just plain old Roselli Beauty makes you sound like a generic private label that I wouldn't look twice at.
Your current branding is warm and inviting, and piques interest.
The box carton packaging will probably change a little but the overall packaging wonāt. It will still look the same. š same paper and beautiful glass packaging
Well I think it is great as it is. Yes you are taking out your first name but your first name is female and your product is for women. Just your last name may be male. I agree concept 3 is nice. As for all the other packaging it looks plain. I think what you have looks beautiful like it was made for women.
I think the best choice is Concept Three: The model represents the target age group, and her smile is inviting. Hold up a mirror to women over 40, and let them see themselves in your marketing. And you know how much I love simple, sophisticated packaging. š
